"Kinder transport: Journey to Life" - part of the Imperial War Museum Short Film Festival
Check out the Imperial War Museum Short Film Festival thats running this week and next. On March 7th they'll be showing "Kindertransport: Journey to Life" a film I made a couple years ago with Maria Polachowska for Newsnight and BBC World. The film includes some moving stories from the children who made the journey, many of whom ended up settling in this country. Here is a link to the website:

They came to the UK as children, but are all now in their later years. What is notable is the contribution all of them went on to make to this country and the wider world. There was a common sense that they all wanted to give something back, to repay society for giving them refuge.
